Corsa America Rally shut down the Times Square!

Car spotters celebrated the supercar convoy in NYC

On the 4th of May, a convoy of one hundred twenty-three furious super and hypercars shut down the Times Square in Manhattan, so that the evening rush hour nearly collapsed! Thousands upon thousands of Car spotters and Enthusiasts celebrated the field of participants of the Corsa America Rally on their way to San Diego like world-famous rock stars! The Corsa America Rally was founded in 2013 by financial expert Thomas Heinrichs and since this year Thomas has organized thrilling Rally Events on American highways and race tracks. It was a fortunate coincidence that one of my female networking friends living in NYC captured the special evening atmosphere with her smartphone! Therefore, a great thank for Atessa Zolghar.

Sparkling kick-off party & engines screaming

Some supercar drivers over-revving the engines of their thoroughbred sports and exotic cars in the flow of traffic so that the euphoric atmosphere on the Times Square in Manhattan was boiling over straightaway. Among them, Corsa America Rally Boss Thomas Heinrichs responsible for all the nightly engines screaming, traffic jam and the sparkling kick-off party.

In his Kermit green Lamborghini with a very extraordinary livery styling, he stands out of the crowd of supercars and glittering lights of the Times Square in New York. You see, gone are the times when famous rock stars like Queen, the Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, Backstreet Boys and Madonna filled stadiums, nowadays in the digital era, a convoy of super and hypercars is quite enough to attract thousands of Car spotters welcoming them with the popping of flashbulbs, actions cams and smartphones!

In the past, every little boy indicated race driver or aircraft pilot as his desired career. Top Marque Event when thousands upon thousands of young people have shut down half of Monaco town.

These days career aspirations like YouTuber, Car spotter and Instagrammer are dominating the Top 5 of every teenager wish-list. Since then the phenomena Car spotting has developed into one of the most successful business models, various European supercar events like Monaco Top Marques, Cars & Coffee, Blenheim Palace, Gumball and so on, attracting masses of Car spotters chasing the best supercar content for fame and cash! It was foreseeable that the gold-rush atmosphere among the Car spotter would not always stay positive, as we have seen at the last Top Marques Event when thousands upon thousands young people have shut down half of Monaco town!

As well on this night on the Times Square in Manhattan, a similar exceptional situation like in Monaco prevailed amongst the Car spotters and enthusiasts. The bodywork of the many marques like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Corvette, Audi, AMG and others got almost lost in the human crowd...

Car-spotter feiern die Ankunft der Corsa America Rally in New York!

Anfang Mai mischte ein Pulk PS starker Supercar Boliden den abendlichen Berufsverkehr am Times Square in Manhattan regelrecht auf! Abertausende Car-spotter feierten euphorisch das 123 starke Teilnehmerfeld der Corsa America Rally auf ihren Weg nach San Diego wie weltberühmte Rockstars. Die Corsa America Rally wurde 2013 von dem Finanzexperten Thomas Heinrich gegründet und seitdem tobt sich eine illustre Gemeinschaft auf amerikanischen Highways aus.

Überdosis Motorensound der Corsa America Rally

Früher brachten Rockstars wie z.B. Queen, Michael Jackson, Backstreet Boys, Madonna und Rolling Stones ganze Stadien zum Beben. Heute im Social Media und Car-spotting Zeitalter reicht es völlig aus, wenn eine Kolonne Hyper und Supercars mitten in New York am Times Square das Gaspedal durchdrückt und die tosende Menschenmenge mit einer Überdosis gurgelndem und kreischendem Motorsound versorgt. Unter ihnen auch Veranstalter Thomas Heinrichs der mit seinem Kermit-grünen Lamborghini im Camouflage Style aus der Meute der PS Boliden und den bunten Lichtern am Times Square polarisierend herausstach!

Phänomen Car-spotting

In ferner Vergangenheit wollte jeder kleine Junge später im Erwachsenenalter Pilot oder Rennfahrer werden. Heutzutage stehen Berufsträume wie YouTuber, Car-spotter und Instagrammer ganz weit oben auf der Liste vieler Teenager. Als junge Leute anfingen Autos mit dem Smartphone zu filmen und auf Youtube präsentierten, wurde dies noch vor Jahren milde belächelt. Doch seitdem sich das Phänomen Car-spotting zu einem der ganz großen Geschäftsmodelle entwickelt hat machen sich Menschenmassen von Car-spottern auf den Weg zu Supercar Events wie z. B. Monaco Top Marques, Cars & Coffee, Blenheim Palace, Gumball um mit Supercar Content reich und berühmt zu werden.

Nicht immer zum positiven wie sich beim letzten Top Marques Event in Südfrankreich zeigte, als eine Riesenmenge an jungen Car-spottern halb Monaco lahm legte. Am Times Square herrschte an jenem Abend auch Ausnahmezustand als sich die Menschenmenge um die vielen Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Corvettes, Audis, Mercedes- AMG, Bugattis und andere drängte..
